In the fall of 2012, we worked with the Organizing Apprenticeship Project and partners to produce this multiracial video series as part of a broader campaign challenging voter suppression efforts in Minnesota.
I worked with the Line Break Media team in the summer and fall of 2012 on a series of videos for our Voices for Voting Rights campaign opposing the voter ID amendment in Minnesota. From conception to a red carpet event, Line Break was a terrific partner. Together, we were able to envision a project that both pushed a particular outcome (Vote No on Voter ID) and respected and honored the voices of multiple communities of color. Line Break Media knew how to listen for the story, work with diverse communities, and create a narrative that rang true for all our partners. Organizing Apprenticeship Project looks forward to working with Line Break Media again soon.
