Line Break Media worked with TakeAction Minnesota to craft messaging and produce a series of videos for a campaign for municipal paid sick time. Prior to production, Line Break facilitated a narrative building process that shifted the framing of the campaign from economic arguments to being grounded in vision and values. Together with a coalition of almost a dozen other organizations, TakeAction used this values-based framing in these videos and across all campaign communications to organize & activate constituents in Minneapolis, Saint Paul and Duluth. The messaging and video distribution strategies helped grow a groundswell of support to successfully pass ordinances in Minneapolis and Saint Paul that require all workers to receive paid sick time off, and are currently being used for a municipal campaign in Duluth.
