Through a partnership with the Twin Cities Media Alliance, Line Break Media developed and facilitated a training for HHESP on using values-based framing for persuasive fundraising and outreach messaging. Participants reconnected with their own values around the importance of higher education for themselves as individuals and as members of their community. Workshop participants described that the best part of the workshop was:

talking and reflecting about why my team members and I care about education and doing self reflection. Also, learning how to tell people about our work and cause in a more story-like and relatable way.

The workshop definitely helped identify my reasons for supporting HHESP and reassured what goals I want to achieve with HHESP. [The facilitator's style] helped make the setting or atmosphere safe, comfortable, interactive, and fun.
