The Shamsiya Group brought us on to help develop Colored Criticism, a web series of passionate, multiracial Millennials redefining art criticism. With compelling digital discussions curated and hosted by Tiffany Bradley, the series is poised to transform art engagement inside and outside of gallery walls.
The first episode features Lauren Chief Elk – a Nakoda writer, data artist, and co-founder of the Save Wįyąbi Project – as the inaugural guest of the show. Lauren and Tiffany’s discussion focuses on “The Plains Indians: Artists of Earth and Sky” at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Along with helping to develop the concept, we line produced, directed, filmed, and edited the episodes. Our friend Tatiana Lam designed the motion graphics, and Owen Duckworth provided the music.
